The Story
To Fetch a Pail of Water
Vivaan, a studious 12-year-old from an affluent Delhi family, meets Santoo — his house help's mischievous son — while filming a documentary to get into a US exchange program. Together with Fiza, a cricket-dreaming girl from their neighbourhood, they become inseparable. When Santoo is humiliated and thrown out of an upscale sports club before he can dip his feet in the pool, his dream of building one for himself unites this oddball trio in a summer full of fun, heartbreak, and friendship.

Behind the Camera
Abhay Punjabi is a Delhi-based filmmaker known for a powerful blend of documentary, fiction, and branded content. His short Achla won a National Award, while Bijli Bittoo was named Best Film at Filmapalooza Atlanta.
He served as Creative Producer on the Gandhi web series (Applause Entertainment) and as Associate Director on 2024 (Disney+ Hotstar) and The Booth (MUBI / Andolan Films).
Abhay has worked with Hansal Mehta, Vikramaditya Motwane, and Anand Gandhi, and with producers including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sameer Nair, and Mira Nair.
